Welcome to historyandphysical.net ("the site," "we," "us"). By using the site, including the free content, the question banks, the community, and any paid membership, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Educational use only, not medical advice

Everything on this site, including practice questions, explanations, guides, calculators, and note templates, is provided for education and exam preparation only. It is not medical advice, it is not a substitute for clinical judgment, and it must not be used to diagnose or treat patients. Always verify clinical decisions against current primary sources and your institution's policies. Calculators are study aids; confirm any result independently before it informs real patient care.

2. Membership and billing

• Membership plans and current prices are listed on the site. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never store your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime through the billing portal linked from the membership page, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. There are no retention hoops.
• Founding member pricing stays at the founding rate for as long as the subscription remains continuously active.
• Free content is free. The first questions of every bank do not require an account or a card, and the free layer of guides, calculators, templates, and community does not shrink.

3. Accounts

Community and member sign-in uses email links. You are responsible for activity under your account, and accounts are for one person; sharing a membership login is not permitted. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or the community rules.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not copy, scrape, redistribute, or resell the question banks, explanations, or other site content.
• Do not post protected health information or patient identifiers anywhere on the site, including the community.
• Be professional in the community. We may remove content or restrict accounts that are abusive, misleading, or unsafe.

5. Intellectual property

The site's content, design, and question banks are owned by History and Physical and protected by copyright. Your membership grants a personal, non-transferable license to use the content for your own study.

6. Trademarks and affiliations

USMLE is a joint program of the FSMB and NBME. COMLEX-USA is a program of the NBOME. MCAT is a program of the AAMC. History and Physical is an independent study resource and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by these organizations. This site is also not part of, affiliated with, or endorsed by Meta Platforms, Inc. (including Facebook and Instagram) or Google LLC. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available." While every question is written to board style and independently reviewed for accuracy, we do not warrant that content is error free, that the site will be uninterrupted, or that using the site will produce any particular exam result.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, History and Physical will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site. Our total liability for any claim related to the site or a membership will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
